What seal/welt between fender/inner fender
Hi
I'm in the process of putting my truck back together. And I think I got most of the stuff needed.
But what seal/welt shall I use between the fender and inner fender? I believe the one from factory was nailed to the inner fender but I havent found what the seal should look like.

Also, not in the picture and I forgot to add, this material only goes from the kink in the top to the rear. Ahead of the kink for about a foot is some kind of high density foam rubber that is rectangular in cross section, about 1/2" wide and 3/8" thick, glues on the top side. There is about a one foot section, then a gap where the inner fender dips then about 5-6" more of it on the radius where the inner fender turns down. I can get more pictures if that is too hard to visualize.

I have never seen that stuff in there before, but mine had been all apart when I got it so maybe it got tossed. Don't think I've seen any for sale unless it's the same stuff that goes for the cowl/hood connection.
Time to look I guess. This is what I found.

fender welting
Fender Welting
I used vinyl fender welting, will not get wet or promote rust, plus it has a nice decorative lip which looks great! cuts easily with utility knife. I also cut an x pattern for bolts to pass through. very simple.
