I have the new 3.0 alternator clocked and in. Also got my battery warrantied today. My problem now is if I turn the blower on or put the windows down the voltage drops a lot then shoots right back up. I cleaned the grounds to the engine and the frame

BFC,
Do you have a white (LRC) regulator?

If so, it's normal for a delay in response to load.

My volt gauge does the same thing. It's moves about a needle thickness or two at most. I was a little concerned at first after making the swap. But, the battery stays charged, and I only drive short distances for about 15-20 minutes between starts.

My 1995 F250 460 2WD with camper package supposedly came from the factory with a 130A alternator. It now has a 95A in it. I'd like to go back to 130A.

Anyone know what physical size I need?

Most parts stores have to ship it in so I'd rather not have to deal with a return.

Thanks.

Get one for a mid nineties Taurus with the 3.0L OHV motor. Take a tape measure with you to measure the bolt hole distance. It should be 7 inches center to center. There will be three groups of vent holes in the front. 130 amp alternators have groups of two holes, and 95 amp alts have groups of four holes.
