1997 f350 xlt 4x4 7.3l front rotor+pad jobs spindle nut torque?
1997 ford F350 XLT 4x4 7.3 turbo diesel. single rear wheel and front manual locking hubs. im doing a front rotor and pad job. got it all apart and starting to clean it up. there are two nuts on the spindle to tighten the one that goes against the bearing which many guys do by feel but i wanted to know the torque or procedure and then there is a spacer washer thing then another special locking nut. which i guess gets torqued, let me know thanks

The inner spindle nut gets tightened to 50 ft lbs while you spin the hub. Then you back it off one quarter turn and slide the lock washer in, lining one of the holes up with the peg on the nut. If none of the holes line up, try flipping the washer around.
Once the washer is installed, thread on the outer nut and torque it to 180 ft lbs.
