The heads and block were well within the International .002 specification so I'm not worried there. I just want to make sure that the HPOP letting go didn't surge the engine and bend or break anything. I'll pull all the push rods and roll them on a mirror. I'm also debating what to do with the injectors. I really don't have enough of a budget to increase the injector size but maybe I could clean or polish them...just thinking out loud there.

I was thinking about doing the bigger injectors when I did mine, but, the budget wasn't there and the wife was already irritated with what I had to spend to fix it!

I can empathize with that one...if my wife didn't like camping I think she would have insisted that I get rid of Monster. At least Monster is paid for and now that she is the third set of wheels I get a little bit more leeway with her.

My wife will be glad when Black is gone. She hates the diesel smell, and how loud it is. But, she does like how roomy the cab is. Oh, and she won't drive it. "Too big, too long"..LOL

Morning Patrick. Funny, I have a couple of friends that wonder the same thing "Are we married to the same woman"??LOL

Man, that's a lot of miles out of one set of tires! Most I've ever gotten was 75,000 out of the Goodyears on my 97 -150.

Can you believe that the guy at the tire shop actually tried to convince my wife that he could give her a "better deal on a better set of tires"? I told her not to even listen to him...what a joke!!

Yeah, a lot of the guys I've run across at tire shops don't know a hell of a lot about the products they sell.

Morning Patrick. Freezing drizzle, and snow for us today. Not much, though, and they say near 50 here by Friday!
