That's something I never watch, just can't get into it, think I'd rather be to it live..

They do have some pretty scary crashes for sure, it's amazing how well those cages hold up..

plus all the tracks have safer/soft walls, that helps the drivers walk away from a crash ...

I wouldn't mind taking a couple laps around one of the tracks, think it would be fun but likely highly expensive for the privilege

Would likely be better than some of the rides at Canada's wonderland...Fastest I've ever drove was 135 mph in my Trans Am once on the QEW. It was a crazy thing to do but I was young then..lol

To bad your located where you are John as there is a lot of SCCA action in the southern Ontario, Quebec and New york, michigan area. It,s more fun than golf and not really all that expensive to get into.

I am from Toronto originally, would never go there to live again and don't even care to visit anymore, wouldn't mind being back down there somewhere though but in one of the smaller communities

Moved from scarberia in 84 and was back once for a week xmas of 88. Heard things have changed a lot. I was lucky as I got to do a lot of things that didnt happen in Manitoba. Couldnt go back for more than a couple of days now due to polution and the heavy humid air, lungs wouldnt take it to well. Might take the northen route to get to the east coast some day, dont mind Ottawa, the Gattineaus maybe Quebec city to check out the old fort walls. Good scenery on that route.
