stupid big blue pig said screw you this morning.
i had to plug it in to get it started. took it up to the starter/alternator shop, and with a warm engine it drops battery voltage down to 9 volts while cranking.
i guess it finally needs a starter rebuild.

If the 'sploder and the 89 f 350 weren't both down, I'd slip up and help, but I have to get one of them back together.
Cold weather sucks on dizzles

Only 14°F? Damn that was a heat wave. It was 6°F this morning when I started the truck for the morning routine. However, I did second guess the battery as it did go dead over the Fall when I was out and about with friends. My buddies kept opening the doors then leaving them open as they walked away. Humm.... I figured in this weather, the battery would have been stressed. The remote start kicked the truck over like it was nothing. My daughter and I got into a nice warm truck in comparison to the temperature outside. When it is this cold remote start is a blessing until you lock out cause you didn't hit the button too many times.

i have not taken any naps since the second week when i switched from oxy to vicodine..

the daughter has been bringing the baby over every one day a week for me to watch for a few hours so she can get things done by herself. i can see a calming effect on her by simply getting 2-3 hours alone time each week.
but 3 hours is about all i can handle with a 15 month old. that little milk sucking diaper monster never runs out of gas!!!

remote start is the best thing i ever put in any of my vehicles.
only problem i have now is with the bad starter i need to plug the truck in for 2-3 hours before i go out to warm up the block and starter, otherwise the starter is not strong enough to spin it fast enough to start.
