Early Flex issues to look out for?

Early Flex issues to look out for?
So looks like a flex is going to be the next people mover/dd for the family. That said, I'll be buying used, in the $7000 range, so that means the first few years, 2009-2010 and 100,xxx-120,xxx miles. I'll intend to drive until 200,xxx if all goes well (bout 6 years i'm assuming based on current driving habits).
Anyway, the budget will keep the selection tight up here, and with the average miles I'm seeing on the ones in this price range, I know there will be a few issues, which isn't a big deal. I can do everything from engine & tranny overalls (will not buy anything where I have to go into the motor or tranny however) to wiper blade replacements, so needing a few small things isn't a big deal. So, what are some common little, no big deal issues, to the common big dollar repair items?
Thanks in advance.

I have found four Ford Flex's with the panel next to the tailgate is cracked right next to the side glass. At the top corner. This was at one dealer! Only used ones had the problem and with very low mileage. That's a big problem for FORD! As low as 10,000 miles! Check your Flex NOW! My Flex is a 2013 I bought used with a lot of miles but I bought a Extended warranty for 60,000 miles and 5 years with the car! It was in very good condition and my Ford Dealer is fixing the panels with new ones! And they are going to see whats causing the problem. Love the FLEX! I will by another one! Also driving a 2015 F150 XLT FX4 Sport 5.0 super crew 373 electric locking diff. Only thing I miss is the power fold/extending towing mirrors. Believe me if you buy towing mirrors you want to spend the difference for the next step up to a Lariet . I do tow a 29 ft open bed trailer for two vehicles or my two New Holland tractors. My truck does not know its back there.

2013 Flex SEL owner since new. 50,000 trouble-free miles so far.
Absolutely zero problems of any kind. Lots of power and steady 18mpg.
My wife keeps her foot in the throttle and she's almost done with her second set of tires, (thank God for prorated mileage warranties). It's time for brakes already because of her driving habits, and I'm going to have the CV axles checked out.
