My early 99 is due for some fluids. Want to change coolant (currently green), service the transmission (automatic), front and rear dif, xfer case and oil. I usualy used delo or valvoline 15/40 for my oil, but am looking for recomendations for all other fluids. Also not sure how much transmission fluid this will hold doing a drain and fill, also planning to drop pan and change filter.
Opinions will vary on almost every question with the exception of coolant. Since it is a e99, you should probably continue to use the old green coolant and add the SCA.

Here is what I am using in my e99:
Engine oil: 15 quarts of Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 (Synthetic)
Rear axle: 5+ quarts of Motorcraft 75W 140 Synthetic Rear Axle Lubricant and Motorcraft friction modifier
Front axle: 3-4 quarts of SAE 75W-90 Gear Oil (will go to synthetic next)
Power Steering: 4 quarts (includes flushing) of Mobil1 Synthetic ATF Oil

Might want to throw brake fluid on this list....

You could run green w/ SCAs or pre-charged coolant like Fleet Charge or Napa fleet. It is usually pink or purple in color.

I have not looked at either of those to make sure that they are totally compatible with the e99 weirdness. Is it possible to add supplemental SCA's to them once the pre-charged SCA's are depleted?

I'll check them out.
Yes, think of precharged coolants as conventional green with SCAs already in it. Follow the same procedure with regular testing and top off if needed. They were industry standards until OAT based ELCs showed up. Still used on applications that have sealants or seals that 2-EHA (a component of many OAT based coolants, including Dex-Cool) find yummy.

I will skip coolant since you're SCA and I'm ELC.
Engine oil - Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15w-40. Southern California doesn't get that cold very often and I've tried most oils (dino and synthetic) and my truck seems to like this the best. I'm currently using Valvoline Premium Blue (it was on sale) and my truck likes it okay but I'll be going back to Delvac once this interval is done.
Transmission, power steering, and transfer case - Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. If it's good enough for the space shuttle then it's good enough for me. It worked great in my F-150 and has been good for my F-250 for over 8 years.
Front differential - Mobil 1 Synthetic 75w-90
Rear differential - Mobil 1 Synthetic 75w-140
Brake fluid - Valvoline synthetic Dot 4
Grease - Valvoline Synpower full synthetic
Again, this is my personal preference and .02

I've done this several times and have stopped. I can't remember the thread (it was here on FTE) but a transmission shop owner chimed in about flushing transmissions. He said based on his training and other super secret shop owner knowledge that he wouldn't flush the 4R100 with a machine or the driveway procedure linked above. Again, I don't remember the specifics of the thread other than it was compelling and now I only drain the pan and add the 7 or so quarts to top it back off every 30K. The original owner (I'm the second) had the transmission rebuilt at 120K by the dealership. I've got 165K on this transmission so far and it's still going strong.
Actually it's a compilation of a couple threads by Gooch, along with info picked from Gooches brain by me, a lot of my own research (that can be fact checked by anyone who knows how to use the 'net) and input by our outstanding membership.

Exactly this.

I agree with what you said about not flushing with a machine at a quick lube shop though!
The machines at the quick lube shops are the same as the driveway method, just with a machine instead of a bucket.
What a person has to be concerned with at a place that will flush the trans fluid is to make sure they don't use a chemical flushing agent that may or may not play well with the trans guts. If they ONLY introduce and replace trans fluid as the old trans fluid is removed, then you're good to go.
