2016 f350 - stock suspension with 33's ?
I just purchased a 2016 f350 crew cab shortbed 4X4. Every truck I have ever owned has been lifted, some extreme and some mild. Well, this truck was bought to tow a high profile fifthwheel which is where my problem comes in. I don't want the truck to look stock but I can't lift it do to the high of the fifthwheel. I don't want to level it because it will look like crap when it's all saggy in the *** with 3000#'s pushing down on it. So, here is what I am thinking. Take off the factory 20" wheels and replace them with either a 18 or 20" aftermarket wheel with a slight negative offset to give the truck a wider stance. Wrap these wheels with 33X12.50 all terrain tires. How will this look going from the skinny 34" tire currently on the truck to a wider 33" tire? Another advantage is I would gain a slight amount of mechanical power by dropping tire size. Any input would be appreciated. If anyone has done this, pictures are appreciated.

I was also thinking of Timbrens in the rear. The thing is they are only designed to work on stock height trucks. If I add any lift in the rear, the suspension would have to compress more before they make contact. I'm mainly looking for pictures of this setup to help me better judge if this is what I showed of do.

I just bought a 16 f350 crew cab diesel, I had the same dilemma I purchased a 2 inch leveling kit 18x9 xd misfits and master craft mxt 35x12.5 tires. I mounted the tires and wheels and put them on the truck without the leveling kit. Passenger front tire hit the stock fender flares and the inner fender. I trimmed the flare and pulled the inner fender back with a zip tie. Driver side hit the front bumper bracket that sticks out so I bent that back and now have zero clearance issues. I am not going to install the kit no need for it however my trailer tounge weight is 3500lbs so air bags are still going to be necessary. Not sure of the offset on the rims imforget but the misfits only come in one size for the ford if you want to look it up. Hope this helps
