Is there a way to lock my keyfob in the vehicle?
2015 expy with outside door keypad.
Is there a way to lock the key fob in the vehicle and only use the outside keypad to get back in.
Whenever I leave the keys in the vehicle, lock the door and shut the door, the horn beeps 2x and the doors automatically unlock.
I want to lock the vehicle with the keys inside.
Thanks!

You may want to test the unlock feature once you've locked the fob inside. Mine unlocks with the push of any single button when the fob is near the vehicle. I leave mine running with the dogs in it for the AC and know that I do not need to enter the code for it to unlock, only punch any button once. So anybody could easily open it by punching any button if the fob is nearby.

No idea what "intelligent access system" or "true key" are but mreed112 correctly describes method for locking my '15 ltd by pressing 7.8 and 9.0 simultaneously either with or without keyfob inside.
There's even a perfect spot in the center console to leave a key inside and just use the keypad all the time you wish. Then you need to use your 5 digit code to unlock (either your vehicle admin code or a preprogrammed personal one).
Pressing one key on keypad only works when vehicle detects you approach with a key, not when key remains locked inside.

The Intelligent Access System that's on the 16's is a system that requires only a fob to operate the vehicle. There's no keyed ignition switch, only a start/stop button. If you have the fob in your pocket, as you approach the vehicle, it recognizes that fob and allows entry by pushing any of the five buttons on the keypad. No code is needed. So you can leave it running without any keys, lock it by the 7.8 and 9.0 buttons and walk away. There's no key left in the car and to move it, you need a fob.
I did try mine last night and you do need the access code if you lock the fob inside the car.

If you leave the fob inside the truck won't anyone be able to push any button on the outside keypad to unlock the doors and then drive away?

The vehicle detects whether a key fob remains in proximity or not and unlock behaviour is different.
If fob remains closeby or inside then 5 digit code is required.
If fob moves out of range and then returns then just 1 button will unlock.
In my view its quite well designed and very functional. I use it all the time and rarely take the key fob out of my pocket.
I just wish there was a way to unlock all doors with a one or two button press when approaching with key fob in pocket instead of requiring 5+1 digits and I wish the trunk hatch button would function when approaching vehicle with key fob without first unlocking vehicle.

If you have the intelligent access system, you only need to push 1 button to unlock the driver's door when you bring the fob back in range. To lock the fob inside, close the doors and use the 7.8 and 9.0 buttons on the door to lock all doors. Then you'll at least need to enter the 5 digit code to get back in. I have not yet tried using a second fob to see what happens when you introduce it into the equation.
With mine, hitting the hatch button opens the hatch without opening the other doors. I don't know if that's only because I have the IAS or not, though.

That pouch or holder is for emergency starting when the fob battery is dead. Your key fob is a transmitter. If the battery goes dead then you cannot start the car. Place the key fob in that pouch and it will read the key transponder and start.

This is great info, on a side note is there a way to turn off the annoying double horn honk? Many times I will get out with the key in my pocket, horn honks twice, walk over to the other side to get something open and close door, horn honks twice again. I realize its purpose but it can be really loud and annoying at times. My current solution is to not close the driver's door firmly when I get out of the truck.
