synthetic oil question!

synthetic oil use in A 7.3? some one told me not to put synthetic oil in my 95 7.3 diesel engine. because it will lead to problems and cause damage to it. any truth to that!

Nope... I have been using rotella t6 full synthetic for years. Good stuff. Because the PSD is so hard on oil, synthetic is actually better because it doesn't break down as quickly.

Who told you that? If it was a mechanic, no telling what else he doesn't know or has got backwards, don't let him work on your truck. Like Richard said, synthetic oil is a little bit better for 7.3L Diesels.
