need some advice on a fuel tank
Hey All,
My 55 is sportin' an LS1 so I am now in need of a fuel tank with a return, I will use an external pump not really sure about the sender. I also would like the filler in the bed. Is there any stock type tanks that will work or am I going to have to go the build it yourself route.
I think I once heard a mid 80's Mustang tank??
Thanks,
Chris

I think 68-72 Mustang tanks, mine is one of these and I think I got it from Mustang tanks unlimited. They had several different sizes in gallons you can choose from, it mounts in between the rear frame rails. I don't have any pics at the moment, its been in the shop for the LS2 swap. Good luck, L8R ZFLASH

There are several factory style tanks that work and have been mentioned. There are also several custom tanks available. I went with tank from No Limit Engineering's Store. They have several sizes and options available.
I'd also consider an in tank pump for EFI. Its a better option.

95 chevy van 22 gallon tank, has side fill and sump inside for in tank pump with factory fuel injection. Put whatever pump you need on the van sending unit, I am running a walbro 255. More pics in my build threads, I put one in each truck. I prefer the side fill, my luck I would have the truck loaded and need to get to the filler cap in the bed.
