Real, Fake, Or No Christmas Tree?

What do you have/prefer in your home?

We always went out hunted Cedar trees out of the neighbors pastures. Those things are considered weeds around here so we almost never asked permission. The couple times people saw us poking around they said, "Take more!"

My wife is allergic to evergreen trees so this year we got a fake tree. It's nice, but just not the same. Better than nothing though!

Oh that's true! I had no idea that a fake tree would take so much time to set up and "fluff". Then the lights.... decorations...

NONE,

Since this is GNAC, I wonʻt go into my reasons why we donʻt have a "holiday" tree.

A real tree is too much work and trees here are super expensive to buy. I like the idea of pre-lit trees, but an expensive "initial" cost too.

Itʻs all good though, no matter what makes this time of year festive for you and yours.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FTE MEMBERS!

oh, and be safe out there too!

When my critters were little and still in school/living at home, we went out to the woods and cut our own down. Now that they're all gone, it's a "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree for me. Burns nice when it's time is up.

We prefer a real tree, but been using a fake pre lighted for last 10 years. It's just easier and cleaner for us to do.

Annual tradition consists of a trip to Avery County for a freshly cut, NC grown, Frasier Fir.

That's me too!

I'm far from a Grinch but all that trouble and cost for a single guy just doesn't make any sense.

Ha! We are rocking 2) here!
Disclaimer: The girls enjoy squaring away the tree in the house...me, not so much.
I'm tasked to set up a "retired" tree out front surrounded by a couple lighted deer. I don't mind so much, as it actually looks cool, out in the middle of the clearing of oaks & pines.
I've been waiting for "our" herd to go around front to get a good picture...no joy yet.

I have a picture of a Christmas tree taped to my wall, much easier than all

that other stuff. I have pictures of presents taped underneath it too.

Pre lit and fake for me. Usually we have a charlie brown tree on a table top but, since my grandkids are here we decided to give them a real Christmas look.

I love a real tree...but my sinuses do not.
Bought a pre lit artificial tree on sale a couple years ago, no more sinus headaches!
