Fuel filler neck hose

Ordered my new filler neck hose that goes to the tank, is there a way of removing this other than dropping the fuel tank, can see the clamp but getting to it with any tool looks a little tough, any tricks for this removal Thanks

I was able to get to mine using a long extension with a 5/16" socket, but that would depend on the orientation of the clamp.

Clamps on mine were at the top and no way to get to them . I dropped the tank which turned out to the good when i saw how rusty and gummy looking it was. I installed a new tank , sending unit and hoses, best thing i have done to the old truck. JIM

Finger crossed and your head held right, and then the straps will not be on right to get to them. Other wise tank drop time and then you might as well replace the sending unit and the lower support straps anti chaff material.

And since it is out, flush out any gunk and crud in there.

Was able to get the clamps off with a wobble extension and a swivel on the end of it, a little tricky but I got them off, the hoses seemed to be a shade shorter than the originals but they fit, Thanks for the suggestions
