Digital egt and boost gauge install

So it been awhile since I put any new parts on my truck. So I decided to get an actual boost gauge instead of useing my scan gauge. I have a digital egt gauge already.

this one here can also be set up for a boost gauge but it can only read one or the other. So I got a double one from the same company.

Along with the appropriate sensor.

So first took the black cluster bezel of a long with my scan gauge and mount.

Then I had to make the hole larger to fit the new gauge.

Then just had to wire it up.

Put everything back together.

After that I had to program it to read ferienhite instead of Celsius. And also had to set the parameters for the boost and to read in psi not bar.

And after a couple runs down the road I am pleased with my it. The reaction time seams a little slow but I may be able to fix that in the programming.

Thanks Aaron. I like. Nice and clean looking. I didn't really have another spot for a round gauge. Work is getting slower so I been getting some house projects done lately and it was time for a truck project.

Looks like a factory fit to me. I also like the 43 psi turbo boost! That must be your s366 and Rosewood 238/80 hybrids at work. By coincidence I just got an auberins EGT gage but haven't had time to hook it up yet. I still have to drill and tap the manifold.

Yeah it looks like it is supposed to be there Bob. The single gauge install was really strait forward. But on this one I had to set it up.

Ha your right Bill I have just been driving it. Sure did plan on getting it painted after winter but don't think that is gonna happen.

Thanks Glenn. I am glad to get a peck boost number now. Every time I get over 30 psi my scan gauge tweaks out. They both are reading the same up until that point so I know it's reading right now. That run there was my hot tune.

Gabe,

Where did you get the 12V power from? Did you tap into the existing gauge wiring? Or did you add a fuse and make a new circuit?

I already had my gauges ordered from Auberins before you posted this, so although I'd have a hard time proving it, I'm not totally copying you, just partly.

Thanks

Don't worry about copying me, I'm not the first to do it. For the power I just tapped into the radio since it is right next to where I mounted the gauge. And because it already has key on power. Make sure to post pics of how yours turns out. And let us know if you have any questions.
