when you turn to on position not starting it mind you. Do you hear the fuel pumps? If not check the fuses that are under the hood you may have one blown they are on the driver side near the brake booster if I remember correctly. Sounds like your not getting fuel.
its getting fuel. it was throwing gas out of the cylinder when we was checking for spark and the pumps are working. it just up and starting doing this.out of the blue.
well got the thing to start but its missing like crazy, went to sit in the cap on the floor and i notice a little smoke, the floor was crazy hot and had done metaled my set belt covers, is this a sign that the cat is bad?

or what the hell is going on?
The floor got hot and melted the seat belt covers WTF??? I know the cats can get hot but I've never heard of something like this. Was this only happening on the passenger side of the truck. Go down and check for an exhaust leak near the area that got hot.
