Hi all - new member with F350 here

Hello there; I joined just now after searching for info on the 1993 F350 Diesel Crew cab that I just bought.

Right now I'm having the truck looked over at Banks Powerhouse in Azusa, but am pretty sure I'll be repairing stuff once I get the turbo out of the way.

I am looking for inexpensive replacement running boards in case anyone has leads, much appreciated.

BTW, here is the CL ad for the truck I bought which has lots of "personal details" about my baby, including "medical history" :-)

cheers
vin

This is an IDI 7.3, with a Banks turbo kit, right?

Looks to be a nice, clean OBS.

Yep, I am anxiously awaiting the green light from Banks as they check it out tomorrow. I am hoping there are no big costly surprises and I can just take care of the basics. The owner was very meticulous and was a bit sad to see it go (but his wife and new baby are a priority now.) The truck was his dad's so he kept it up.

thanks!

Looks like you got an excellent deal on that truck. I wish something like that was available when I was looking, I would still have it.

Thanks! I am hopeful I'll be able to keep it in good shape. I have had so many cars and always thought I'd have a keeper, but situation would dictate what I kept. This way, I didn't pay too much, I don't have to recover my money, and it should last a good while so we'll see...
