Art night.. Because why buy a regular column drop when you can design your own?(cad drawing will be more accurate)





Roughed in.





Didnt get a picture with the switches and dimmer switch in, but got the holes laid out.





Switches im using for headlights, power windows, and cowl

My son wanted to help in the garage tonight. Helped clean up, didnt get much done. But we made some robots.

Nope lol. All good. Locks installed with new striker pins because the ones that came with it weren't even close to being long enough :S

The robot on the right is actually one of the new striker bolts. Just a shoulder bolt if anyone else has the same issue.

Filled some holes today.. I hate grinding. Or at least the smell.

Curious, I was wondering what was bolted to those holes you filled, I'm assuming mirrors but seems like an odd spot for mounting any.

I personally like the body seams. It's part of the old trucks character. When everything is filled/smoothed they start to look more like the newer stuff. This is just my opinion. I'm not saying it's right or wrong.

I'm guessing mirrors myself. Didn't come with anything there, just holes.

It's been a while, but I started mocking up the console. Won't be using that Shifter, just one I had laying around. I will have a similar one, but with two levers and black.
