Custom floor mount and column drop...
Lol

Has anyone ever went through the firewall with the column instead of the stock location? Not sure i like the angle of the wheel, even with the tilt.

I did with my panel but it was mostly due to the location of my steering box, but I do agree that going out the original floor location stands it up pretty straight.

I plan on using a rack and pinion. Think the firewall would be a better choice for eventually connecting it all together?

The pickup I'm working on now has a rack, it lines up very well going through the floor plate, I still haven't picked up a column for it yet and not likely will until the new year. What make and length is your column?

Mine is a 32" flaming river. I think I'm going to try and go through the firewall.

The steering wheel and guages go well with his theme. It's going to be a nice blend of classic and tough.

I wish. Lol

With Christmas creeping in, haven't had any time on it lately. Still sitting in garage calling my name.

It's aluminum yes. It's made by joes. Longacre also makes one. Racing wheel. Bolts to a 3 bolt adapter.
