tapping my fuel bowl ?????
hello anyone know of someone that has any info on tapping and pluging the .845 inch hole that the "Fuel Heater Thermostat / Connector"(with the oring around it). looking to do this weekend just digging for information.
This i what i found when i pulled my fuel bowl out and the reason fuel was spraying out my fuel heater plug hole.
so now im looking to just delete the "Fuel Heater Thermostat / Connector" and plug this hole.
as i stated above the hole is roughly .845 inchs and is the hole that doesnt have treads in it.

well i took a different route and so far no leaks.
But i took the plastic piece that normally plugs the hole and has the temp sensor in it for the fuel heater. As u can see in my picture above the thermostat part came out of the main plastic piece with the o-ring. I just cleaned up that part and got the J/B weld putty from the auto part store that is diesel fuel resistant. let it cure up and reinstalled everything.
ill update if it starts leaking. my main goal is just to get my by until i get my E fuel setup complete
