Lug pattern conversion question....

Is it possible to convert a 17" 5-lug Dodge wheel to a 17" 8-lug Ford pattern? I have a set of the most amazing wheels/tires that came off of my Dodge. They're beautiful black racing wheels with 33" Mickey Thompson tires. But they're Dodge, and they're 5-lug, and I bought an F-250 and it's 8-lugs. I can't afford to start over. I see all different varieties of converters, but not what I need. It's very depressing. Any help would be much appreciated!

I would sell the wheels and move on. The reason the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks have 8 lugs is because they are rated to tow/haul more. going to a 5 lug wheel with adapters(if you could even find them)would severely limit the trucks ability.

No way man. Those wheels are probably not even remotely close to the ratings of what a 3/4-1 ton can carry. So i would sell those 5 lug wheels and take the money buy the new wheels in 8 lug. Sell your stock wheels to get some money back. You may walk away with a zero out off pocket cost overall after selling everything. Having non hubcentric wheels is IMO bad enough. Going to a small 5 lug is even worse.
And remember if something happens liabilities can point back to you.
