True North Strong and... er... almost rust-Free?.... Gotta love pic 4; awesome setting. Back on topic, a shot of the light output FROM the driver's seat down an actual road would be good.

That would definitely call for the relay harness mod.

Using those bulbs period. That's a lot of power going through undersize wiring and an under-engineered switch and connector. The switch and connector are known to fail even with stock power bulbs. With those high-power bulbs, you NEED to take the main load off the switch wiring.

Understood. I dont want to thread jack; supposing I wanted to run those bulbs; what should I search for in order to make the correct wiring mods.?

Yea #4 is my favorite too. Once I figure out my new camera I can get a drivers seat beam shot, and well you've got me worried aboot melting the switch! Suppose I'm gonna put a relay system in.

Anyone tried LEDs yet? They claim to be brighter and would lower the amp draw. There are a few different vendors out there. Here is a set from SuperBright.

The light bars these days are incredible, headlights are still on the expensive side

Id be willing to try something like those if they were endorsed by other members but considering the fragile lighting circuit in these trucks I'm afraid to be the pioneer...

They looks nice, but expensive and I dont think there are extra space behind the headlamp in order to function properly in our trucks. IDK. And IMHO you need the relay harness anyway.
