The tips are off a Cadillac Eldorado but they have been used on Devilles and other models for many years now.

 

I think it is great out the front fender. Go for it. I don't see how you can kill yourself with CO unless you leave it running in a closed garage. I know I'm going against the grain, but you don't see drag racers or race car drivers dying from exhaust. You can always weld it back up and redo.

I should have recessed mine in to the running board, if I did it again. I might one of these days.

 

Exhaust out the fenders is old school traditional stuff.
Even the wheat farmers in central Washington where doing it 55 plus years ago.
Just ask 52Merc on here. The fenders i got from him had that done and the hole was very nicely done for a farmer truck No torch cut or anything like that.
