I have a 60 f500 single speed rear axle I'm going to swap a 12 valve cummins with an nv 4500 and an under/overdrive unit on it to help with the rear gear. Dose any one have any advise on this swap or pictures on the swap I plan on doing a full build document ion with pictures.

im toying with the idea of a 12v cummins swap into a larger F series truck myself.

I have no advise for you but plenty of interest, and a couple of thoughts. The 6BT is a solid work-horse, it should work well for you with the right gearing.
As far as comfort and driveablity, Your biggest challenge may be sound control, With an all metal cab and engine bay. IIWM I would add tons of sound deadening/absorbing material.

I have also been toying with this idea on my 60 f500.The 6bt would slide right in with new motor mounts.......wish someone made an adapter for the T98 4spd to match up with it. Ive got 6.20 ratio in my rear axle tho
