'66 High hump ? Low hump?

John: John is correct, the hump in the picture would be considered a 'low hump'. My 65 with the 3 speed on the column is a 'low hump' floor pan. My 65 with the T18 4speed on the floor is considered a 'high hump' floor pan.
I selected the carpet color but before installing went to an upholstery shop for estimate and found they went thru the same supplier and able to get it for less, they applied their discount to their installation. I prepped by laying down insulation and basically all the upholstery shop did was apply a coat of contact cement, sections at a time, and lay down the carpet, fit like a globe. The shop was also able to apply their discount thru same supplier for the upholstery.

Thanks for the replies. The humps have me a little confused unless they really changed things from '64 to '65. My '64 f250 has the 4 speed floor shift. The hump is bolted on and is the same height as the welded hump seen in the picture. I have seen floor mats and carpets listed for 2wd auto trans or high hump floor shift/4wd. I assume that the 2wd auto trans mats would work for 2wd column shift 3spd but maybe that is a bad assumption.

Believe the difference is possibly with the type tranny, my 65 with the T18, seem to recall the shifter housing sets slightly above standard floor pan and it came with the original 'high hump' cover. My other 65, with the 3 on the column, appears same as the floor pan in the picture with no attached cover.
Not a good pic, and difficult to determine with the carpet installed, is a pic of the 65 with the T18.

Hey guys I am in a corner here.... I have a F350 1964 2x4.... it is an automatic so technically a column shift... is this a big hump or a small hump. For 350's they only list high hump with manual trans, but I have an automatic which I am sure isn't very common.
I am looking at the MIP Vinyl floors
Truck Parts and Truck Accessories
I think 49-5906 is the one I need but not sure.
Thanks for any help.

Hmmm... well let me know how the high hump road goes for you. I also wonder if there is a difference in humps between the 61-64 and the 65-66 truck cabs,.
