Wow, at basically sea level, right here on the Central Coast of California, it was 43 degrees on the Monterey Peninsula last night, right about 8:30pm, when I was heading home from my Mom's in Marina.
So, here we go, some snow pictures from our trip to Leavenworth, WA...
and a few from just now outside while we are having a small snow shower. Yes that is snow at my place south of Seattle. Nothing sticking to the Ex, as she is still warm from a morning run, but Eat your heart out Alaska
all these pics make me sad...it really does. it's depressing the weather we have here in florida. not even cold around the holidays. i HATE the heat, and part of me wants to move up north (not somewhere with extreme winters, somewhere that has pretty even all 4 season throughout the year), but i just can't bring myself to do that, i was born and raised here, all my family and friends are here, everything i know is here...it sucks though because weather wise, i'd be 110% more happy somewhere that is snows.
I had friends up here for new years from Tacoma that i took to the airport today, they had snow at home and nothing but rain and wind here with skating rinks for parking lots and roads. That's depressing!
