Value of the 04 factory 18" wheels

I picked up a set of Lariat 18" 2004 wheels awhile back for $50 for all 4. Now I've come across 4 more 2004 18" lariat wheels with lugs and caps and 4 2004 18" Harley Davidson wheels with lugs and caps. I like the idea of having the lariat wheels incase i wad up a wheel in the future and cant replace it.

What are these wheels actually worth? What have you guys been paying for them when you find them?

Thanks

I paid $600 for my set of Lariat rims with 50% stock sized Continental tires on them.

If you do get that second set of Lariat rims to give you spares I would be very interested in reducing your count by one!

Dang so they are kinda spendy. This guy want 450 with junk tires, said they were is winter set. So they're probably middle grade, ive got pics but havent went to his house in person to see them. Wheel works in town quoted me $300 each to compeltely strip, polish, and re clear coat(rebuild them) including the paint in the spokes. Which is expensive but its alot of labor to do that.

If he comes around, i will hook you up with a spare if you still want one. The Harley ones are a better buy. Maybe they'll be my winter rims lol. If i can work on the prices i'll get both sets, there is probably a member here with a black ex that would like those harley rims lol

Thanks

If you're just looking to have replacements if you trash one of your current wheels, why not just get one of them spruced up and keep the rest on the side? That way you'll have a good looking spare should you need it.

The HD wheels seem to command a higher price than the Lariat's, but then again the sellers seem to think they're made of gold and plated in unobtanium. I think Mark got his for around $850 or so but I don't remember the exact price.

Our good friend @WE3ZS is the person I want to negotiate treaties for the Free Republic of MARKLAND. He paid $750 and the Michelin tires had less than 800 miles (smelled like new and still had the teats).

Secretary of State for Markland sounds like a pretty good retirement gig to me! Will I have access to the Maker's Mark stash?

all depends on w/ or w/o tires and what kind and what shape the wheels are in. Iv seen factor wheels 18"+ go from $400 - $1000 and sometimes that $1000 did not include tires. I can see the Harley Wheels easily hit $1000 if they are in great shape.

I have seen the '04 H-D rims listed with $1k asking prices, but I would never pay that much for them (without tires) even if they were perfect. I can see complete H-D rims with the special H-D only lug nuts and caps commanding slightly more than the other varieties of the '04 18"s, because of those nut's added value to '03+ rigs. The earlier EXs and pickups still had the coarse threaded lugs and the fine thread H-D nuts won't work on those rigs.
Local market offerings will also affect pricing a great deal as will supply and demand. There were more of the H-D rims sold as all '04 H-D trucks had them. In mid-year '04 the 18" became standard on the KR trucks with the 16" as an option. Also in mid-year '04 the Lariat trucks got the option to upgrade from the standard 16"s to the 18"s. And the very rare SVT rims were only available over the counter of Ford Motorsports parts, they were not offered on any trucks from the factory.

Last May I drive 550 miles to pick up a set of the 18" HD wheels with 30% tires, caps and no lugs.

I paid 600.

I bought lugs, locking lugs w key (oem HD ones) off Ebay for 165 or so.

Got 250 trade in on the old tires.

I'm happy with where I'm at on them.
