REar axle help on my 54 f-600
Hey guys. Looking for advise again. My rear axle on the f-600 is dripping at the pumpkin and now started leaking at the inside rear wheel. Does anyone sell gaskets or seals for these axles or can i pull it apart and clean it and simply use some kind of silicone to reseal it? Has anyone done this before?? Thanks for the help.

Howdy Troy,
Those wheel seals are pretty much standard seals. I got mine from Cascade Friction Materials in Tacoma, Wa when they turned my drums. The seals should have part numbers on them and will be standard Timken, or equivalent.
I am not sure you would need to buy a gasket for the axle. It would be very easy to just make one . If your existing gasket isn't broken, just use a good silicone to reseal it.
Is it a single speed Timken axle or an Eaton 2-speed?
Post a couple of pictures.....we love pictures!
Regards,
Rick
