I have a 2006 f150 it has the 4.6 and I have an edge programmer on it.... I noticed my trailer lights weren't working so with the truck running I pulled my fuse box cover off to change the fuse. As soon as I pulled the cover off the truck shut off. Now it will not start at all. When I turn the key on all the dash lights come on and the display says check guages. I've checked all of the fuses pressed the red fuel reset button behind the fuse panel and even put a new battery on it. It won't do a thing. My programmer won't come on enough to pull DTCs. Any ideas?

 

Maybe try disconnecting battery long enough to drain electronics, then try again
