Mercury truck sells cheap

How many saw this ebay item?
Ford F 100 M100 | eBay
I'm thinking not many. This was a no reserve item with parts on it that would sell for $$$$ sometimes it pays to search ebay.

Most people probably only search for F100.

Someone got a deal.

Sometimes things simply slip and get away from potentially high bidders. A couple years ago I picked up a 1955-56 NOS Mercury car speedometer for $30 which I would think would have went for much higher than that. What happened was the seller likely didn't know what he had and listed it as a 1963 model. I was one of only two bidders.

Agree, perhaps the grille and tailgate are salvageable?

I take most of my comment back - didn't see the tailgate.

I did include 'salvageable' which is some what suspect. Not familiar with the Mercury series Pickup, if the tailgate can be salvaged may be worth more than the purchase price of the truck. Believe there's a person on ebay selling Mercury truck flairside taillights and asking some thing in the area of $1500.
