Exhaust Opinions Wanted/Whats the best choice?
I have a 2002 F350 FX4/Tow Package 7.3 with 62K miles (Shes just a baby lol)
... Anyway it has a 6 speed manual transmission. Ive been thinking about doing exhaust work to it and i cant make up my mind what would sound best while shifting through gears ...Im gonna do a 5" turbo back exhaust but im unsure where i want it to end up ... I was thinking a single bed stack no bigger than 8", but i dont know what exact size stack would sound the best and give me that diesel gargle I love ... My second thought was maybe a hood stack but thats alot of BS to go through ... My third thought is just a turbo back 5" exhaust all the way back or side dump it ... My main question is, which configuration would sound the best, and as far as stacks go, what size stack sounds the best ? ... All help is appreciated, THANKS

I prefer the sound of a full length exhaust.
You obviously want it loud so I would just do a straight pipe 4",(or 5" if you really want but it's not necessary) all the way out the back, it'll be loud outside the cab but YOU won't have to listen to is so much in the cab. And if you want to hear it more then just roll the passenger side window down.
