You don't want the degas bottle since your cooling system doesn't use one. If Rod's deal falls through, a generic coolant overflow bottle will work, since your pressure cap / fill point is on the radiator. Otherwise, look for an overflow + washer bottles from a '92-'94 IDI. Shipping from MN to TX shouldn't be bad, however, given that the parts are pretty light.

The '97 engine / '94.5 cooling system explains the, er..., creatively customized upper rad hose. Might want to look for a more appropriate hose, as that one looks just a wee bit leak-prone.

Wow, the previous owner sure had a knack for hacking perfectly good (and remarkably easy to maintain) systems on the truck.

I looked tonite, I have both the overflow and the washer tank. I wonder if there the same as a gas motor?? Might help your search.

I'll look into what shipping would be tomorrow.

I think the upper rad hose is still available but you have to find one for a 94.5 PSD. Or I think a 92-94 IDI motor.

As far as the gasser goes, I had a 92 Bronco (should be the same as a F150, f250) and it had a smaller radiator overflow and washer fluid tank on the drivers side where my 95 diesel has the 2nd battery. A quick google search for 95 bronco coolant overflow images shows it to be like the 92 Bronco, so it will be a no go.

Correct; the overflow bottle that was in the truck originally was not pressurized. If, hypothetically, you wanted to switch to the system with the pressurized degas, you'd have to get a later model radiator without the cap.

Hell yea, so I can get the one for 30 bucks at Oreillys instead of 100, I appreciate the info. The engine is stock, and i'm gonna slowly build it up, so any posts of upgrades would be nice... or maby i'll search around on forums.

Yep, if your not worried about it looking stock, that's what I'd do. I think you can get a generic washer bottle too.
