Good evening to all. Dropped my truck off at the transmission doctor's today. Probably going for a full/upgraded rebuild.

Hopefully BEFORE it snows.

Hope the rest of ya are having a better week than I am.

 

That doesn't sound good Tom. What happened?

 

Transmission went out. It loses 3/4th gears and reverse when it gets hot.

That sucks. I thought the transmission on the excursion was gone also but I changed fluid and pulled the valve bodies out and selinoid pack and tested it. Everything checked out so put it back together with new fluid and worked fine. Hopefully for a long time

howdy Maine.
i got to go out hunting once so far.went out the first day there the 31st i guess it was.i saw the hind end of one,walking slowly away from me on my land.then i went over to another piece of land and i was able to call one in.by the time it spooked and jumped,tail up it was too dark to see it good.i followed it and jump it a couple more times but could only see white tail each time.so no shot off either time.oh well.hopefully i'll make time for another day or two this season.last season i think all i went was the first day.
