Bronco comes before Ms Dent just because it is going to be finished and sold to buy her some nice parts, lumpy cam, aluminum dual plane intake and maybe even a rebuildable 390 to build just like I want with compression and a cam. I'm still learning these FE motors and don't know how big they can go safely and still be used to pull a trailer.

Evening all. Hopefully I'll have Frankentruck done this weekend so I can make the next gtg in it.
It's a soggy mess over here. I had to go to Jeff City today and soaked going through the check-in procedures for the state car. I decided that sitting around in soaked clothing for another couple of hours wasn't going to happen so I called the boss and told her I wasn't making it back in.
Well I need to run downstairs and put the battery back on the charger. Not a fan of leaving it on unsupervised.

I am 90% sure that is the one I sold a couple years ago. I likely can find the reg. and give you the vin. It ran very well. If it is the same car it is not a gt just has a gt grill and some other things. When I sold it even the air shocks were still working. When I sold it, it was still copper and had a black hood. I sold it with extra later model tach cluster and new heater controls and in the box new carpet, and new wiper delay switch and some of the extra chrome.
They make nice cars to drive. I have had several of them over the years.
I think I still may have a set of black door panels and a set of factory black bucket seats, but no console. I can't remember if I sold the door panels with the car or not

Well, that would make sense. The reason I thought it was a GT was the instrument cluster it has. I had one back in the day, but mine was a '73. This dash looks a little flashier than the one I had, so I just thought it was the model year difference. The guy told me the tach didn't work and I thought the diode was bad. (there's a diode in line to the positive side of the coil) Maybe it doesn't work because that diode isn't there. I'll look in to it. If you can find the VIN of yours. That would also make sense why it's not a bucket seat car. In any event, it'll look like a GT when I'm done. It seems to run alright, but the gas tank is rotted, so I need to replace that. Also the mufflers are blown out, so I need a set of those. Other than that, it seems to be a pretty solid car.

The drivers side front floor and think maybe the pass side behind the seat has a few pin holes, but nothing serious. It had the original jack and handle.
I Haven't seen the car since I sold it. It went to a kid that lived in Willard and he drove it for maybe a year. I saw it a couple times he had it advertised on CL for like 2800 or so. It was still copper at that time. I will see if I can locate the old papers on it and give you the vin.
I think it might be worth your time to get a Marti Report on that car. I think it is likely a fairly rare combination of interior and exterior colors. I have only seem maybe a couple with that combo.
