Thanks, I like the new Mossberg 464 SPX. Good brush gun and no need to worry about scratching the stock when crossing the fence.

ldgamblin is starting off with a positive reputation.
Rich post the list again, the more times that it's on here the easier it will be to find it.
It was my first contact with him, so hopefully I can develop a rapport with him over time. You can never have too many parts sources, can you?

Not quite Tim. The "Dang-it-Don't-Go" (Thanks Chip ) started trying to overheat on the way home from Springfield this evening. Hopefully I'm just low on coolant and not something more serious.

Evening All!

The Chevy has new cab corners and rocker panels. Most of the mud work is done. Hopefully, I'll be able to deliver it Tuesday.

Well I picked up my Dodge this afternoon, problem was...
1.All of a sudden my fuel gauge decided to not be as accurate as it normally is.
2. My low fuel light did not illuminate....so when it shows a 1/4 tank, that now means empty. And the at a 1/8 tank the fuel low light was SUPPOSE to come on, it did not.....

So my dumb **** ran it outa fuel with a 1/4 on the gauge and NO fuel low light....he laughed, and said come pick it up. He bleed the lines and it is a good as new. So now I will ALWAYS keep it on the "F" side of the gauge.

Selling 76 Ford truck parts tomorrow....and entertaining the grandson with a Bronco ride while looking for bambi's dad.

Good Morning Everybody!

Rich, don't feel bad. I did the same thing with a Peterbilt and a loaded 48' trailer. I was on a suspension bridge outside of Richmond Virginia. Had a full quarter of a tank. The gauge said 1/4 and it actually had it in there, but I didn't know the pick up wouldn't draw the last 30 gallons or so. (it held 200 gallons) ....live and learn.

Today we're going to prep Earthquake for the parade next week. I hope to get it's mystery running issue resolved. It either runs perfect, or on 4 cylinders. I hope it's just a carburetor issue.

Morning all.

Working on getting motivated to do the flywheel swap today. So far I've not had the best of luck with it. I halfway expect my help to bail on me so I'm pretty much on my own.

I guess a long enough piece of chain so they can just get from the truck to the tool box is cruel and inhumane? lol Hang in there Dave.

Hey Dave, I found the best way to do a manual trans is leave the jack in the garage and use an engine hoist through the hole in the floor for the shifter. You should be able to find the balance point and gently lower the whole thing down to the floor. That's how RC and I did the one in Earthquake. It was super easy.

RC. I have the carburetor from the big engine I can jet down. I think I may just have a piece of garbage floating around in the float bowl, though. Most of the time it runs great, then gets to running like crap. If you let it sit for a second, it'll run fine again.
