Dave glad to hear the wife is better. I will ck my pile of parts for it later today.

RC I am sure I gave it to you, I thought I really had no need for it. But my memory on that could be wrong too. Like I said, I will look this afternoon.

And along with that, morning everybody.

I remember when I put the 351w in trish's 84 f100.. I mistakenly used a 302 flexplate.. it also vibrated.. she drove it like that for 2 years till I got her S10 built.. then I jerked the engine out to put in my 62 ford using the right flywheel and it ran great again.. so not sure how much damage you can cause buy driving it...although I know it is best to do it right

Good morning all, Dave, glad to hear it is running, at least the running issue is something you were able to pinpoint rather than a mystery. Get your lead wrenching assistant on it with you and it'll be done in no time.

Afternoon All!

I thought I was going to wrap up the '79 Ford today, but when I pulled the windshield, I found out the entire top of the cab was rotted, so that's what I'm working on today. I also started on the body work for another guy and the guy with the engine swap absolutely HAS to have the job done THIS THURSDAY.

I'm about to go flip burgers and call it a day with the shop. Yeah, busy is fine, but everyone screaming at me because they have to have something done right now is completely different.

You're right. I can get one locally for $55 - $60 making it pointless to spend half a day scrounging for one.

Rich is right too - motivation/ambition is running very thin at the moment. I'm going to try to do something everyday until the weekend. Tonight is putting all the tools up do I can find what I need.

Ha folks PARTS TRUCK. 1977 Ford f250 I like the fact it has the bed side tool box and the race trac chrome to go with it. I do not need another parts truck....cause...cause I will have some pics tomorrow, that's cause why.

Dave I'm glad to hear your wife is doing good.

I'm 4 days away from my surgery, and my 93 has let me down once again. I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is dead. I don't hear it come on. My gas guage showed a 1/4 tank, so I put about 5 more gallons in it, so it should have enough gas to start it.
The tow truck driver sprayed ether in the intake and it fired up for a second.
When I was waiting for the tow truck, I got it to start for a few seconds, but it sounded like it was only running on 4 cylinders and I gave it some gas, and it died real quick, and wouldn't start again.
This is all I need on top of everything else, I don't know how much time off work I'm loosing out on besides the minimum of 2 weeks off for recovery.

Dang Lee, sorry to hear the truck let you down and sorry to hear about some upcoming surgery. All I can do at the moment is say "Hang in there brother".
