Well whoever wants my share of scrapple can have it. It is not a NY thing but I have been in places down south and it does not look and sound like anything that I would like.

dump site from load site was 6 miles away across static island today, ended up only doing 3 loads in 7 hours. them idjiots in the cars were extra stupid today.
then i grabbed a load of recycled concrete to drop off at the new shop rite we are building at the bridge on the way home.
pulled out of thr recycle center and heard a noise. got up to 13 MPH and felt it. pulled over and saw a 18 inch long, 14 inch deep, and 8 inch wide chunck of new york city bedrock wedged between the rear tires.this was that black granite crap that needs dynamite to break.
limped the truck back into the center to the garage where they tried to wedge it out.
when that did not work they ended up jacking the truck up and removing the rear tire.
both BRAND NEW tires with only 76 miles on them are chewed up on the sidewalls, and the bead seat on both rims are ruined.
i was able to get the load delivered and truck home. they are going to take the rims off tomorrow and try to straighten them out and see if they can save the tires.
i was so pissed, but the boss said don't worry about it, the recycle center admitted it was their fault for not cleaning the roads as well as they should have and said if they can not be saved they will replace them.
