F250 door handle rod lock clip

Trying to replace a right rear door handle on my 01 7.3. Attached is a photo of the new handle with the unlock rod. Also is attached is photos of the door without handle. I pointed to the part that moves the lack to unlock.

Looking for the clip part number or photo that is missing. Or any ideas on a rig. I thought a hose clamp would work maybe with a nut on the rod?

Your best bet for that would probably be a body shop. A Ford dealership body shop would probably be easiest, but any body shop should be able to find it.

Problem fixed

I thought I would finish out this thread with the fix. I have attached the correct part number for a right rear crew cab door and photos the actual part that cost $8 from Ford.

After removing the inner door panel and the actual door latch, the drop rod goes down inside the door and the clip closes on the rod. The plastic clip goes into the metal oblong ring. You have to put the clip into the oblong ring and then turn it to lock in. Make sure you put the plastic in the ring before clipping it around the door handle down rod. The best way is to put the door latch on and then connect from the other side where the door panel is. It's self correcting.
