You ain't no beer snob, just returning to real beer. The watered down beer from the last century was a legacy of prohibition in this country. Now today, they have "light" versions of... watered down beer, that are popular. Some breweries brew it that way, some just add filtered water. Hell I can do that at home, why pay retail for watered down beer? Took us almost a hundred years as a country to get back to quality brew, though they are usually damnably expensive.
I liked this photo of an old resort in Northern California. I's not too far away from Shasta Ca., which was originally named Sisson Ca. We went there years ago when the kids were small. We towed a '66 canned ham behind a '79 landcruiser wagon. Maybe my wife and I should drive the woodie there if it ever gets done. Anyways, there's the Rim Rock Ranch, and it's still open!
