Please forgive my preoccupation with truck wheels. The above Hi Way Oil Company truck is either a GMC or REO. Not a Chevy. The eight hand hole, hub piloted, 5 x 8" pattern wheels are Motor Wheel Spoksteel (no e) brand wheels that were unique to both GMC and REO. Stu

Edit - Gary hit send before I did. We were typing on top of each other. Stu

Thanks for the ID....I wasn't sure on the make, but posted it because it's a beautiful truck! Very well styled for that era.

I am still trying to make sense of the ford sign above the roof, might of been a ford dealer before ?? looks like it was taken in B.C

them 3 clearence lights puzzle me! they were on my truck, but every thing is gone except 3 metal screws. i would like to install some but not quit sure how they were installed. and now would be a great time to prepare any holes or plug them! there seems to be some sort of frame! i think STAN the guy from saskatchewan already posted a better picture for me but i can,t remember where.

Bernette, I have one of those three light clearance lights. I can take some pictures of it tomorrow afternoon. I am going to change the lenses to red and install it above the hitch under the back of the bed on my '49 F4.
