I think the idea here was to have an extra drive unit or two. Pull one out for service or repair and put another in to allow deliveries to continue. I wonder why it never took off?

It looks like a '41 with a chopped top. Some really straight metal there!

Amazing how much the look of car trailers have changed. Even they where better looking..

It's also amazing the amount of weight that '37 and the jailbar truck are hauling. Climbing steep grades in the summer? How did they not boil over? I guess we really baby our trucks these days. I won't even mention stopping......
