Radio flyer wagon full of discarded bottles..... 3 cent deposit on normal pop bottles, 6 cents on the big ones. Beer bottles were 1 cent and 3 cents. Regular candy bar was 5 cents and a double bar was 10 cents. I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday for yet another crown. Yes, I look back on fond memories on those days. Richmond Beach Wa. Early 60s. Oh and the paralyzed guy is 62 now. Typical day is 10 hours. I have always wanted to write about him someday, but not in this forum. He owns at least four advanced design big trucks and maybe six chev trucks from '55-'57. All of them are in use in his business and he does all his own mechanic work.

This is going even more off track. Last couple days I binge watched Fastest Cars on netflix. 7 episodes of random cars drag racing 4 abreast. Always a super car, a purpose build drag car or two and a junkyard dog. The first episode has a young guy in a wheel chair that built his own rod, with the help of his buddy who is also in a wheel chair. 27 Dodge pickup with a LS engine and he spanked them all, bad. Cool beans.

That's one of my favorites of the whole bunch. What a beautiful outfit, as they would say in Montana.

Pic obviously taken before April 18, 1906.

That's the Ferry Building in the background, it survived the quake (and is extant today), but everything else you see in this pic was destroyed, either by the quake and/or burned out by the fire.
