Friends of mine are on the road in the Seattle area...and I'm pretty sure that they have a turbo issue. Gobs of smoke, strange noise and no boost.

It's a 2002 7.3.

They main issue is that they have a GN trailer on with 3 horses and a herd of dogs....trying to get to Kansas by the weekend.

Stay in touch with the thread... I'm sure there are some folks around there who know of a reliable source of 7.3 service.

 

They are contemplating just to the dealer and "Paying the man." Ouch!

If they could have somebody bolt a 38R on that would be a quick fix.

Tried, and may have succeeded in charging more because of the "aftermarket" bellowed uppies.
