Thanks for having me.
I live in Austin (hill country area) have a couple kids, wife, cat and dog. I mountain bike, wake board, snowboard, kayak, soccer, motocross, sport bike, etc..
I work for a civil engineering firm as a land survey technician.
MY TRUCK: 1978 1 ton dually bored 0.30 over 460 with a mild cam, C6 with a shift kit, Edelbrock intake, carter 4 barrel, flow-masters, ambulance rear end (cruses at 70 mph), 14 leaf springs on each back wheel, hidden goose-neck hitch, rear drop down bumper, Arrowcraft fender rear flares.
The truck has been in the family since 1978. My dad purchased the 1 ton frame and chassis from a TX-DOT road work truck that had tipped in a ditch, with less than 17000 miles on it. The cab (which i am in the processes of getting my Marti information to determine if the cab was a pace truck cab) The bed (my dad looked hard to find one in this good of shape and the Arrowcraft fenders are bolted on. I have had the truck for the last 17 years and just recently did a overhaul.

I definitely like to get out on the water.
If you are ever around these parts or want to plan an paddle give me a shout.
I live in Apache Shores subdivision and just down the road from a boat launch on Lake Austin with a park picnic tables, BBQ grills and boat slips. I have two sit on top kayaks and a 3 person canoe. You are welcome to barrow them anytime.

Right on, not much of a lake paddler but if you ever want to see remote sections of the San Marcos or upper Guad I'm all over it. We have learned a bit thru the years.

Nice that looks like the Guadalupe.
I as well prefer a challenge that open water does not give.
Here are a couple pics of or Guadalupe run 3 months ago. We started about 15 miles up river from Rock-N-R at the Ingram ranch and ended at Rock-N-R.
My wife and I have done many miles on the lower Colorado, Pedernales, Blanco, Frio, Barton creek, when it's up, the Narrows, Lighthouse Trails at Port A and a lot of Lakes mainly for fishing and swimming.

I want to do the San Marcos and any other cool ones you might know of.
Parking, entry and exit is always fun

I'm still trying to figure out 2 of those pics.
Yep that is the Guad, somewhere between Comfort and Sisterdale.

This one is from further up, near Hunt.
