Let the games begin! New2me truck, air conditioning, VSM, and cooling system, oh my!

New2me truck (2002 Ford F350 Lariat LE Super Crew 4x4 LB 7.3L PSD DRW) and I am now learning about what exactly is wrong with my rig. 3 days old and here's the run down of faults I've found so far:

Issue: Auto headlights, power locks, radio, and door open light don't function correctly. Diagnosis: faulty VSM. Part: about $120. Labor: another $120. Need dealer to program. (might not need it programmed as I just learned.)

Issue: Overheating. Diagnosis: broken radiator resoviour (knew that when I bought it,) possibly bad thermostat, just needs a good cleaning. Parts: 36+45+5+62. Labor: $0. I am getting a 203 thermostat and a billet housing because the old one SUCKS and I don't want to spend even one more time for the housing.

Issue: A/C not working (blower motor is fine, blend door is fine, heater shutoff is also fine because it doesn't blow hot, just blows.) Diagnosis: unknown. No clue on parts or labor... But I'll save myself as much as I can by Googling what I can. There is a freezing cold pipe after the condenser so I know the compressor and condenser are working, so it's got to be something after that. Ideas appreciated! Expansion valve is one idea.

Issue: visor console missing. Diagnosis: what do you think. Part: 110. Labor: $0. 2 seconds of my time. (if anyone can beat this price for a flint grey, sponsor maybe? Let me know! W/o sunroof)

Issue: visor info center not functioning. Diagnosis: fairly common problem with these ford overhead units. Poor build quality, needs soldering. Parts: $0 but I need a soldering kit. Labor: $0.

So what are we at... $240+$148+$110+unknown but hopefully less than $300

So... With all that... $800 in repairs if I'm lucky. I want to thank the forum for being a great source of information. I wouldn't have known any of this and I would be getting completely shafted by mechanics.

And so it begins.

some bits you may be able to pick up the men's mall for a little less, like the interior bits.

If the a/c line is cold right at the outlet of the condenser then you have a plugged condenser, should not be super cold until after orifice tube/expansion valve.
