Purchased in Spokane, WA and driven to Moscow, 85 miles.
I am thinking odometer is actual mileage as truck has not been used much and its condition, but could be +100,000.
Here is story from guy I bought it from:
"I traded my boat for it a year ago and the guy I got it from was the second owner. The first owner was a farmer who used it when he first bought it but after a few years it was rarely used. Apparently he just past being a little over 90 years old I think. The truck has been down there it's whole life until the few months that I had brought it up here." He trailered it and did not drive it. "down there" is Moscow, ID where it is again, now. Moscow is a fairly small town.
Have a second owner receipt dated 9/9/09 with 52,594 miles on it.
Starts right now, runs and drives well.
Truck is all original except owner just before me changed; door panels and armrests to black, have original reds; sun visors to black, have original reds; wheels to 1983's I think, have originals; he replaced the door sill plates, have originals; he applied chrome trim lower body panels.
Door handle cups are new.
Floor liner is new.
Insulation under floor liner is new.
Head liner is new.
Dash lens is new.
Dome lamp lens is new.
Have original window sticker; 48 GVW package, trans warner T-18 4-spd, 1650 lb rear spring.
Have original owners manual and all inserts.
Factory trailer plug receptacle, quick change ball with three sizes.
New tires, king pins, king bolts, alignment 3/14.
Brakes, rotors, reman calipers, seals, bearings, front brake hoses 11/09.
Very new truck cover from LMC.
Bug shield, currently behind seat.
Center console.
Super Start Platinum Battery Part Number: 34/78PLT, glass pack, is new, $171.99 at O'Reilly.
Stant Lev-R-Vent radiator cap is new.
New fuel pump 12/14.
Fresh remanufactured carburetor 10/15/15.
Now, why mileage could be +100,000 but I doubt it;
Oil leaks, in 9 months about half a quart, drips on drive though, stick stays steady oil smell and consistency, no fuel or antifreeze smell.
Oil has coated much of engine therefore gunky. A Ford Truck guy at O'Reilly states oil leaks from the intake manifold are common with the 360 and would happen before 100,000.
Wondering if engines resting for long periods develop leaks.
While installing reman carb, tightened intake and valve cover bolts, all but a few intake bolts were loose.
Engines resting for long periods can develop exhaust leaks, which it has at left rear of engine looking from front of vehicle.
Power steering fluid stays steady.
When cold, shifting is stiff.
Right turn signal sticks.
Of course that woven seat material is coming apart on drivers side.
