2008 f250 5.4 Coil part numbers? Plugs?
I am having a bit of a miss and Im certain its one of the coils. Im going to replace all of them, but im finding different part numbers and want to be sure I order the correct ones.
My current coils are a 8L3E and im finding a few coils with that part number. When I search 2008 f250 5.4 coils, im getting different coils. Im getting part numbers like DG511 and DG508. Can someone help me out?
Also Im going to do my plus. I have done a little research on this and I believe I have the newer redesigned head and my engine build date is 4-2008? Looks like the ones with the spark plug issues had build dates of November 2007 and earlier? I don't want to order the spark plug removal tool if I don't need to (the one for removing broken plugs)
Thanks in advance!!!

Looks like you could have either Brown or Black Coil pack boots. Best option is to call the local Ford dealer parts counter and give them the last eight of your VIN # and they can tell you which is needed. I have similar issues with my truck being a 99 and split year vehicle.

Coils and Spark plugs for a SD F-250 w/5.4
I have 130,000 miles on my '99 Super Duty F-250 and keep it because it's got an advantage over all the other newer truck in the highway. . . . .ITS paid for!
I discover that when the coils begin to go the spark plugs are not far behind so its better to change them all both at the same time. 5.4-L-V8 engine firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 & cylinder position is: Firewall (Back)- to - Fan (Front): 4-8, 3-7, 2-6, 1-5. I got mine in Rock Auto in 2-3 days and their price was just, fair, and fast.
