Okay, so I've been on here before diagnosing problems with my 94 7.3 idi. Long story short it threw a rod and needs rebuilding, or the route I decided to go, a drop in motor. I bought a 7.3 out of a 91 250. 180000 miles. No turbo. I plan on replacing all gaskets, putting the turbo from my 94 on, and eventually dropping it in. The question I have is this: The 91 Idi was set up with a three belt pulley system, my 94 had a single belt system, much easier to mess with. Is it possible to switch over pulleys and/or alternator/water pump, and whatever else from my 94 onto the 91? I think the water pump is interchangeable, the alternator doesn't appear to be, and I'm not sure about pulleys. Any info is appreciated.
