Read thru it and it will give you a description and location of where that little fitting is located. I had that issue on my 11 and it fixed the exhaust smell in the cab issue.

I'm experiencing the same thing every once in awhile and like you others when you close the vent to recirculate the smell is gone my truck is a 2015 F350 6.7 any ideas that may be different and can you please post better pictures I'm not mechanically inclined on my truck yet so the best pictures and area saying what the better so I can check this out before I have to take it to a dealer. I noticed the smell again yesterday when I was at 65% soot level .

The two provided pictures get you in the right area. It's not simple to get quality pictures in some of the confined places on this truck. I recommend taking it to your dealer if you can't locate the clamp or you find it's not the issue. Provide as much detail as you can so they can troubleshoot. If it's bad enough, you just need to get it resolved even if it does mean dealer work.
