Subscribing... And perhaps hijacking a little
This brings up an interesting issue for me, as I've been considering a replacement fuel tank as well, BUT, for some reason I was under the impression I only had a ~26g capacity tank?? My low fuel light comes on and the readout says 50 miles to empty, and if I run it down to where it reads single digits to empty, I can only put in ~25g... Is there that much of a safety margin built into the readout, or is my calibration all whacked out, or ??? Stupid me for not even looking at the manual to understand the fuel capacity, but...

I'm sorry that this is THAT reply but I did see one once that was around a 48-50 gal replacement tank. It was steel however. Was around $1400 also. Sorry I don't have a link or anything but I did see one, once.
